Season of Thanks-Giving

November is the month of Thanks-Giving. Yes, it is already the eleventh month of the year. You might have run and run looking forward and not looking back. Now is the time to pause and look back before you enter the busy time of the holiday season.

I encourage you to take the time to count the blessings that God has poured upon you and your family. It is so easy to focus on hard times. But turn around and try to find blessings that you have received from God. I believe you will find enough reasons to give thanks to God.

Therefore, let us be thankful to God. Let us give thanks to God from the bottom of your heart in the season of Thanks-Giving.

As we count the blessings we have received, I also invite you take the time to count the blessings you have received through Aldersgate Church from God. Weekly worship service enriches our lives with God’s grace. Fellowship nurtures us with God’s love. Our ministry transforms and resurrects the world as well as our lives.

Let us give thanks to God for all the wonderful works God has done in and through us. I am also thankful to you for your support for and commitment to the ministry and mission of Aldersgate Church.

November is the month of Stewardship and Commitment for 2020. You know the parable of the talents (Matthew 24:14-30). The master praised the servants who gave all they had and blessed them with much more.

Before you make commitment for 2020, I encourage you to count all the blessings God has poured upon you and respond to God with thanksgiving and give back to God generously. God will bless us and Aldersgate Church and its ministry.

It’s an exciting time for the Aldersgate Church. There are many opportunities for us to reach out to the people in our communities. Aldersgate Church has many exciting dreams for providing excellent ministries to enrich the life of Aldersgate congregation. Let us join together in supporting and growing Aldersgate Church in response to God’s call to the future that God has already planned for us.

Blessings,

Pastor Sung Ho
